{"id":12325,"date":"2020-03-19T11:14:38","date_gmt":"2020-03-19T15:14:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/countertools.wpengine.com\/?p=12325"},"modified":"2022-02-21T11:32:39","modified_gmt":"2022-02-21T16:32:39","slug":"new-infographics-compare-your-states-fda-violation-rates-year-over-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/countertools.org\/blog\/new-infographics-compare-your-states-fda-violation-rates-year-over-year\/","title":{"rendered":"New infographics &#8211; Compare your state&#8217;s FDA violation rates year over year"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Here are infographic maps showing FDA state violation rates of tobacco product sales to minors including e-cig sales, looking at FY2019 compared to FY2018.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re pleased to announce that we have updated the infographics we shared at NCTOH last fall!<\/p>\n<p>The orange themed maps display the \u201cFDA Violation Rate of Tobacco Product Sales to Minors\u201d and includes Fiscal Year (FY) 2019 and 2018 data. Now you can easily compare how your state sale to minor violation rate has changed from FY2018 to FY2019. The FDA might conduct repeat inspections at the same retailer, however in this instance, each of those reported visits would be counted as a separate enforcement check. Review these changes to understand the tendency of your state retailers to sell e-cigarette products to youth.
